How often have you heard the advice to start a business that solves your own problem? My guests today did exactly that. Tory Krone and Madeline Larsen are two of the co-founders from Practice Vital, a software company that specializes in creating beautiful, data-driven dashboards for mental health practices that want to track key metrics. In this episode, you’ll hear how their idea went from helping Tory build a simple dashboard for her own practice, to a bona fide software business helping practices around the country. We cover a wide range of additional topics, like…

  • How Tory, Madeline, and their partners went from idea to reality over a few family dinners
  • Why data and metrics are so important in our practices
  • How to use data to coach clinicians, know when to hire, and more
  • Ways that Practice Vital can help testing practices specifically
